Coaching

I have over twenty years experience as an editor in both online communications and book publishing, and I'm now offering to share my expertise with you. I can help you improve your writing no matter your experience. I have no set lessons or syllabus, my coaching is tailored to your goals and your needs. You decide the area you wish to focus on.

My expertise include:

• Planning and organisation: how to plan and structure your writing.
• The story elements: plot, character and setting.
• Researching your subject.
• The technical stuff: style, tense, point of voice.
• Mastering the 'show don't tell' rule of writing.
• Refining and polishing: continuity, editing and proofreading.
• The publishing process.

The above apply for both fiction and non-fiction; I can help you with both forms.

I don't however tutor children or writing for children. 

I charge a flat rate of $45 per hour. 

Sessions can be conducted over Zoom, Skype or even Facebook Messenger if you prefer. I'm generally available between 10.00am to 4:00pm Tues-Thursday, but I am open to working with you in the evenings or on weekends.

Book as few or as many sessions as you like. Initial half hour consultation to discuss your needs is free.
